Needs to see MD: Fibroids should stop growing postmenopausally. If you have postmenopausal bleeding of any sort or amount you need to see your doctor.

Sometimes: In many women, their fibroids decrease in size after menopause, as many fibroids are estrogen dependent. If they grow after menopause, they should be removed, as they could be a cancer masquerading as a fibroid. If there is enlargement after menopause, do not panic. These are frequently benign, but cancer must be ruled out.
