Slight variation: Different parts of the world have different "standards of care". Although for the most part the education is somewhat the same, techniques, materials, and delivery of care vary. Foreign dentists coming to the us to practice need to go to school here to get the education and experience to pass the licensing exams.

Good question : Physicians and dentists regardless of where in the world they were trained, have to undergo extensive academic and clinical training to be qualified and licensed. Humans, as far as i know, anatomically are the same in china, india, france, usa... The us however mandates them to be retrained in the us to be qualified to practice here. Why is the question?
