Patience: All ointments when applied to the eye create as a necessary portion of their effect, a smeary thin layer over the front of the eye through which vision becomes a little disturbed. This will settle down over a 5-15 minute interval and the vision will settle in at its best. Don't apply the medication just before an important visual task (like driving) but hopefully it is treating your problem.
