Lingering ointment: Refresh™ pm ointment lingers in the eye's tear film for a long time. Depending on how much you instill and when you put it in and how long you are sleeping, your visual symptoms may vary. Blinking and the normal tear/mucous/oil turnover mechanisms will eventually eliminate the ointment. Try using less (1/4") at night and use refresh™ artificial tears i'm the day to see helpful.
