Maybe: It is not uncommon to have some persistent pain after a major spinal operation, and maximal improvement can come more than a year postop. A concern, however, would be if the bones do not grow (i.e. Fuse) together, which is usually a goal of scoliosis surgery. For that reason, you should be evaluated by your surgeon to see if this potential complication is occurring.
