In theory...: The idea is, there are elements in cranberry juice which make it difficult for bacteria to adhere to the urinary tract , thereby making it easier to clear out.

Can: Cranberry juice (100%) or supplements can help with UTI. They act by knocking the bacteria off the cell wall.

Maybe/not: It can certainly help reduce intensity in most but it does not actually kill the germs. I wouldn't use it to avoid a doctor visit/culture/antibiotics, the long term consequences may not be good.
