A member asked:

What are the chances of getting a keloid from cartilage piercing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low Chance of Keloid: Keloids are skin scarring conditions and the cartilage piercing should not cause them to worsen. Cartilage piercings carry a chance of infection, so be careful and keep it very clean. If you don't have a tendency to keloid, or if your family doesn't, then you shouldn't keloid. But there is a remote chance.
