There is no physical connection to your reproductive organs so if everything else is fine - you can become pregnant several times before menopause. But, if the bipolar disease is severe, it could be too great a stress and leave you anbd your existing family in a difficult situation. Also, if it is genetic, do you want to pass it on?

Being bipolar does: Not Prohibit one from becoming pregnant. The issues which must be addressed include treatment (medications) during pregnancy and if the woman's symptoms are under adequate control to safely care for a newborn.
