Common: A frozen shoulder has a cause, and muscle tears in the shoulder girdle are common. Most of the time they do not need surgery unless every, or significant loss of function, or no improvement with other treatments. One of the most important things to do to heal will be physical therapy. The shot should help improve your pain to allow for gentle exercise.
