2 days or so: Prozac (fluoxetine) has a very long half-life. You haven't reached a steady state blood level yet. I think that with a few days the side effects will pass.

Could be awhile...: Prozac (fluoxetine) has a very long half-life of 7-9 days for the active metabolite--half-life is the amount of time it takes for half of the drug to disappear from your body. This means it will take a week for 1/2 of what you took and absorbed into your body get out (go away). No stomach side effects such as nausea/constipation/diarrhea often get better in 3-5 days after stopping. Others longer. Good luck.
