Very small: Very small arteries ANS veins can hemorrhage under the skin. They appear same and heal similar. The bruise will turn a bluish green as the body absorbs the blood leaving some hemosiderin behind. Eventually the area returns to normal appearance.

Most likely cause of sudden(3day) inflamed swollen vein(i think) at skin surface leading to/near right nipple(male 40yo) no chronic illness. Popping out at skin surface with some bruising now and slight soreness to area. Maybe fluid buildup in cap..?
