Skin?: If you are referring to visible bruising in the skin it is not usually arterial bleeding. Rather it is localized small veins and capillaries. Deeper muscle injury can involve smaller arterioles which quickly retract and stop bleeding. All else being normal bruises are reabsorbed over time and resolve.
