Rest and take some -: Pain meds for a 7-10 days. Majority of these problems settle down without needing anything else. Do regular exercises to prevent stiffness and weakness of the muscles, as weak muscles do hurt as well. You might be having some arthritis at your age. If no better after 2 weeks, consult your pcp or an orthopod. Good luck.
