Yes if Uncontrolled: Hypertension and kidney failure can be linked together making it difficult to determine which came first in many people. But if you have both, the treatment remains the same regardless of which came first. It is very important to keep the blood pressure in a normal to low range to protect all organs and blood vessels. Exercise, salt avoidance, weight control and medications to lower BP are all key.
