Blood pressure: Hypertension causes abnormal kidney function and can contribute to heart attack and stroke. We usually consider that package to be serious.

Yes: Both are serious. Both can cause harm to organs and tissues; both can lead to stroke or heart attack or premature death. Kidney disease can generate hypertension and hypertension can cause or worsen kidney disease.
