Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud. had ultrasound on pelvic area and they could not see my right ovary. so they had to do a vaginal ultrasound. what could be going on?

Normal: Ovaries are often not visible during a transabdominal ultrasound. The vaginal ultrasound will provide a better evaluation of the ovaries.
