Not related to IUD: Your ovary pain is not related to IUD removal. Most people have relief of cramps after half hour of IUD removal. If your cramps are hormonal, yes, birth control pills may help. Please call your doctor regarding the ovarian pain. Do you have a fever? If you have fever and ovarian pain, it is best to go to urgent care after you speak with your doctor.
