Bone loss: And gum disease lead to loose teeth. At 22 you are too young to have loose teeth. Please consult with a dentist asap hope this helps.

Other way around: Loose permanent teeth, in the absence of trauma, are caused by bone loss. This is usually secondary to periodontal disease, and if caught early can be treated and stabilized. Please have an evaluation by your general dentist and ask if referral to a periodontist is advisable.

Loose tooth: Bone loss is usually why the tooth is loose.....Not the other way around if you have not had trauma ( ie fall, fist to mouth, got hit by a hammer ) and the tooth is loose.....Bone loss due to some reason is what is going on go to a periodontist ( gum specialist ) for an evaluation asap.
