Computer eye prob: Many computer screens emit radiation that exacerbates dry eye. Reading anything, including a computer screen, one does not blink as frequently - also causing dryness. Once the eye is dry, the radiation from the screen can make a mild burn. Artificial tears taken a few times throughout the day help a great deal. See your eye md for confirmation. Radiation shields fit over the screen. They help.

Dry eye : Your symptoms sound like dry eye exacerbated by prolonged computer work. I am not sure what you mean by "stroke" in your description though. See a cornea specialist.
