Few causes...: Glaucoma (juvenile-rare), tumors, pseudotumor cerebri, infections, trauma, and some medications have the potential to elevate the intraoccular pressure. If you or the teen having problem with acute vision problem/eye pain etc..Please see doc/opthalmologist asap. Vision is so precious! good luck...

Bad measurement: Squeezing the eyes give falsely high readings. Thick corneas, too. Glaucoma either is noted in first year or two, or later as adult. Almost unheard of to start at age 14.
