Trimethoprim/Sulfa: Yes, but this would obviously depend upon what you are talking about. There are very few uris requiring antibiotics and those that do generally do not need bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) but this is a decision that has to be made by the doctor examining you and their diagnosis.
