What does a thickened colon mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It means that ...: The walls of your colon (the last part of your bowel - usually goes around the outer part of the abdomen) has a thick wall. Remember this a tube... Thickening makes the inside smaller. Infection, inflammation and even cancer can cause it. It is usually seen on ct, MRI or even colonoscopy. You should have you doctor narrow the possibility list.
