Impossible to say: from just the CT scan. cancer would be uncommon in a 27 year old, but not out of the question. You need to put the findings ( colon wall thickening) in context with what is going on clinically. Also, how long is the segment of wall thickening? Cancer usually is only involving a relatively short segment. Infection or inflammation can commonly affect a longer segment. Best wishes!

Not enough info: It may mean nothing, could mean a lot of things depending on your symptoms. Thickened colon could be normal in a non-distended colon, could be inflammation, colitis, polyp, cancer... Discuss with your doctor.
