Fever: Though low-grade fever may sometimes be attributed to teething, it's not usual that it last this long. Your doctor giving the "all clear" after one week is very reassuring. However, situations, physical exams, and illnesses can and do change. I would definitely have your child re-examined.

Probably: Elevated temperature/low grade fever is a very common symptom while a child is teething. A simple pain reliever/fever reducer like advil or tylenol (acetaminophen) is your first line of treatment. However, if the temperature rises much above 100 or 101 degrees f return to your physician.
