A member asked:

I am 19 on androgel but not working for me due cost, convenience, spreading ect. are there other effective trt for treating delayed puberty?

Complicated answer: The first thing is to make sure you have a correct diagnosis. You need to know why you have delayed puberty to know the correct treatment. Typically, we use testosterone replacement for a short time to induce puberty. The longer you remain on it, the less likely your own system will work normally. Testosterone can be given by injection instead of gel, but this can be worse if not done correctly.
