Yes: Junk food often has empty calories, that is, calories without high nutritional value. Depending on what you are referring to, sometimes junk food can have additives that you may not want to expose your pregnancy to. There's a great reason (a baby) to try to eat a healthy as possible. Real food, not processed, is best.
