10 months bright red anal bleeding. dr. prescribed 2/day anugesic hc suppositories for 2 weeks with fo stool test. sups didn't work... what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a surgeon.: Bright red blood is usually caused by something low in the rectum or anal region. Hemorrhoids (either internal or external) or rectal fissures are the most common causes. If your symptoms aren't improving, consider seeing a general surgeon or a colorectal surgeon to see if there is anything they can do.
