A member asked:

My grandma has dementia and wound up going into a paralyzed state yesterday and my uncle had to carry her to bed but she is fine today is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

She may have had TIA: If she had a tia, a temporary stroke, she could have been paralyzed yesterday and fine today. My colleagues with more experience in advanced alzheimer's may chime in with some other possibilities.
