2yrs girl vomited in bed for 1st time 5 min. after putting her down. now she never wants to sleep w/o someone holding her hand in bed. what do we do?

Sleep time confort: Understandable, she associates bed with the vomiting episode. So for now hold her hand till she sleeps, then have her hold her doll in other hand till sleeps. Then let her just hold the doll and you sit with her. Then just the doll and you are not needed. Give her several months to let her work out the fear on her own. If that does not work, have her speak to someone at 3 yrs or older.
