Infection: Your tooth appears infected. You need root canal therapy. Make sure your dentist is aware of your swelling. Taking macropen may not be enough to control the problem. Let your dentist take a look.

Swellings: Swelling is not normal and in these types of cases usually represent an infection. Antibiotics tend to prevent spread of infection but does not address cause. Speak to the dentist treating you regarding what to do, rather than seeking advice online from someone who has limited information about your specific situation.
