Several reasons: Rashes from being outside can be due to several reasons. This spring has been so warm that, depending on where you live, poison ivy and poison oak are starting to leaf out, so they are a possible cause. Some people have sun sensitivity, causing a rash instead of just a sunburn. If it continues to spread or bothers you, see your doctor.

Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause a skin rash. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, sun exposure, insect bites, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
