A member asked:

Recently, my daughter has pain in the upper area of her eyes, she gets enough sleep, is healthy, what could be the reason? what is the best treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain: This can be from just dry eyes from excessive near/computer work. The blink rate diminishes greatly with this type of activity. The pain with this is more of a sensation like something is in the eye. This could be an entity called episcleritis, an inflammation of the episclera. It would be best to try lubricating eye drops and see you eye doctor.
