Hello docs. i was wondering can worms cause a rash all over a 2 year old?

HELMINTHIASIS:: You didn't mention what type of worms. If intestinal helminth, e.g. Round worm, hook worm, pin worm, tape worm and similar, can give rise to allergic reaction, rash which can be severe enough to cause death. This is a common happening in poorer tropical countries where poor sanitation, unsafe water supply, overcrowding, poverty is taking lives of hundreds of children.
