Hello docs. i was wondering can vomiting bruise ribs?

Unlikely: The muscles involved in vomiting are entirely internal and do not involve the chest wall. Unless in the act of vomiting you fell accidentally against something. Coughing can cause rib pain but coughing involves the muscles of the ribs.
