My fiance has a very yellow bruise on his chest. doesn't remember bumping into anything. about 1-2 inches big & been about 2 weeks. call doc?

I wouldn't: Yellow is the last color of a bruise and a big one can stick around for up to 3 weeks. We men often take a tumble and don't remember. If he is otherwise well, leave it as one of life's mysteries.

No: A yellow bruise just tells that the bruise has been there for a while , was probably blue , purple , green and then golden and now yellow , it is almost gone, she might have hit something unknowingly. I dont see a reason to see the physician unless she presents with bruises at other site of the body without any history of trauma. In that case she will need platelets to be checked.
