No.: Radiographs can distinguish only air, fat, soft-tissue and bone densities. Ovarian cyst is approximately same density as surrounding soft tissue, and thus cannot be distinguished.

Not usually: Not usually seen unless extremely large. Ultrasound exam is best method of detecting ovarian cysts. Cysts can also be seen on CT exam of pelvis.
