Naproxen: Naproxen will temporarily relieve the pain of a toothache, but it will not eliminate any infection. If the tooth is not treated, the infection will get worse and the pain will return. See your dentist to find out what is causing the toothache, and have it treated.

Pain killer: Will just mask symptoms as tooth becomes more and more damaged. Please see your Dentist.
