Yes: When laying on your back, a stone can roll into the infundibulum of the gallbladder and obstruct the cystic duct, the duct the gallbladder empties through, causing biliary colic ( gallbladder pain). Sir zachary cope described this as happening to him in his book " the early diagnosis of the acute abdomen", a must read for interns.
