It's possible: Recovery, always a challenge as other issues develop or are revealed. Gallbladder/biliary disease can be difficult to diagnose and does include pain that radiates into the mid back in some patients. The good news is a low fat diet, lots of hydration and outpatient tests with your regular doc, (ultrasound of ruq) will help answer your question. If you develop fever or vomiting, get checked soon.
