I' not sure why no: I'm not sure why no one has answered you, but i think they lack enough information and don't want to mislead or discourage you. Sometimes people do survive even after months on life support, but many do not. Speak with the physician's working with your loved one to find out the likelihood of recovery. It is very hard to see someone you love on life support.
