It may or may not be: Occasional teeth marks on the tongue may occur with accidental biting of the tongue. Long term teeth marks in an individual with some other symptoms and/or habits, such as a dry mouth, smoking, or an inflamed or irritated tooth mark that appears ulcerated or crusty is something that should be evaluated.
