CBC: Cbc- blood counts and hemoglobin level, tsh/t4- thyroid harmone level, lipid panel- checks your cholesterol level. Your complaint is shortness of breath and pounding heart beat from your profile. Low hemoglobin could cause shortness of breath. High thyroid level could cause palpitations. He is screening your cholesterol level.

Son,35,had CBC, & Thyroid was off -TSH was 4.76 (high) & T4 was 1.2 (normal range)-does he need treatment for this? My doc did not give him anything, could this happen from stress? Could it go back on its own? All other results were normal/in range?
T4 Free" is 0.7 & "TSH W/REFLEX TO FT4" is 48.46.LDL cholesterol is 158. Doctor gave pills for hypothyroid & told lowering TSH will adress LDL.true?
