Hysteroscopy all ok. new mireana fitted. but i seem to be on my period all the time! had it fitted four months ago. constant spotting. normal?

Probably the mirena (levonorgestrel): The Mirena (levonorgestrel) can cause irregular bleeding in some patients. It isn't supposed to do that, but for some patients it will. Sometimes it can be stopped by using a short course of supplemental estrogen gel or cream, but if it doesn't go away, you may need to decide if the benefits of the Mirena (levonorgestrel) outweight the nuisance of the constant, irregular bleeding.
