Sounds like : An exostosis or bone spur that is compressing your deep peroneal nerve. Treatment would consist of shaving the bump and i'd likely recommend decompressing the nerve in the same sitting...Concentrate what part goes numb...Is it in the direction of the first and second toes? If so..Bingo......Deep peroneal nerve entrapment.
