Multivitamins: The only thing it will do for your teenager is to empty your pocketbook. In other words if your child is eating a proper diet vitamins are unnecessary.

All vitamin...: ...Supplements do one thing, and one thing only: supply vitamins. If a person is vitamin deficient, the supplement will improve whatever problem the lack of this particular vitamin caused. If the person has no vitamin deficiencies to begin with, the supplement will do absolutely nothing.

Not part of law: The FDA does not "approve" of supplements or vitamin products.It would only get involved if any were found to represent a danger to the public, but your lobbyist owned congress holds an exemption to supplement makers from any FDA review.Vitamins are an insurance policy you buy that makes you feel better. They are peed out of the body the day they are given & might help if the kid was deficient
