Enteritis: Without knowing what symptoms you have can only say that mucous in the stool is not normal. Did your doctor check for occult blood? Have you had a change in frequency, urgency, etc.? Trust your doctor and if you cannot, then get a second opinion. Good luck.

Have floating stool, colour seems fine, it just floats . Sometimes for a couple of seconds it floats and then it will sink. Not really a foul smell, just floats. Colour is a bit loghter brown but still brown. Doc did a faecel fat test, was normal?
