See dentist: Please make an appointment to get this looked at. Any lesion on the tongue is suspicious and needs to be seen by either a general dentist or by an oral surgeon, who may opt to biopsy it to determine the cause. Only then will it begin to heal. Per chance, it there a broken tooth or sharp filling on that side that the tongue rubs against? If not, see dentist or oral surgeon.
