A member asked:

If you have lower lobe pneumonia apendicitos and e coli all at the same time and it caused abdominal pain could you be misdiagnosed with crohns?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abdominal pain: The diagnosis of crohn's disease can only be made with biopsy results or certain glaring findings on an x-ray or certain very high blood test results - or a combination of all three while the things you listed can cause pain, mistaking them all for crohn's disease does not make a lot of sense.
