What joint?: Traumatic arthritis can occur after intraarticular fractures esp.@ the wrist, knee, elbow and other joints. Not sure which joint but it usually takes @ least a year or longer for post- traumatic changes to become apparent on x-ray . The more signifigant the intraarticular fracture esp. W/older age and lack of adequate reduction, the better chance of it developing. Good luck!
