If u hv anxiety, would prozac (fluoxetine) b better than fluvoxamine or clomipramine . if u hv anxiety would all 3 above raise your seretonin. thanks?

All raise serotonin: Due to drug-drug interactions i would lean towards Lexapro ( escitalopram). Celexa ( citalopram) has considerably less antianxiety effect, so do not accept anyone telling you they are the same. Both are generic.

Anxiety: Clomipramine (Anafranil) and Fluvoxamine (Luvox) both have an FDA indication for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Prozac has FDA indications for Major Depressive Disor-der, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, Panic Disorder Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. All could be used off -label. TCA like Clomipramine may have unpleasant side effects.
